Does Your AQW Account Transfer to AQW Infinity?
The short answer: no official account-migration plan has been published yet. What we can verify is the shared-account ecosystem Artix already uses and the shared-inventory direction announced by the AQWorlds Wiki.
Account transfer status
| Account data | Status | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Account/Login | ALPHA CURRENT | Eligible Alpha players use the current Artix account flow; the full-release login policy is not confirmed. |
| Items | PARTIAL | The Kickstarter FAQ discusses item conversion limits; complete item-by-item transfer rules are not published. |
| Classes | PARTIAL | The Kickstarter FAQ says sponsored classes may begin as armor art, with skills and animations added later. |
| Level | NOT CONFIRMED | No official announcement confirms classic AQW level migration. |
| Enhancements | NOT CONFIRMED | No official announcement or guide confirms enhancement migration. |
| AdventureCoins | NOT CONFIRMED | No official announcement confirms AdventureCoins migration. |
| Membership | NOT CONFIRMED | No official announcement confirms classic membership treatment in Infinity. |
| Badges | NOT CONFIRMED | No official announcement confirms badge migration. |
| Achievements | NOT CONFIRMED | No official announcement confirms achievement migration. |
| Bank | NOT CONFIRMED | No official announcement confirms how the classic bank maps to Infinity. |
| Inventory | PARTIAL | The independent AQWorlds Wiki described a shared-inventory direction; official transfer rules remain unpublished. |
| Quest Progress | NOT CONFIRMED | No official announcement confirms classic quest-progress migration. |
Status key: CONFIRMED requires a direct official commitment; PARTIAL means only part of the behavior is evidenced; ALPHA CURRENT describes the test build, not a launch promise; NOT CONFIRMED means official rules are absent; DOES NOT TRANSFER is reserved for an explicit official exclusion. No row is placed in the first or last category without that evidence.
Same login, new account, or character transfer?
Same login: NOT CONFIRMED for the full release; the official Alpha flow only shows that eligible testers currently use Artix account access. New account required: NOT CONFIRMED; no official announcement says players must create one. Character transfer: NOT CONFIRMED; no official announcement or Kickstarter FAQ defines a character-migration process.
Known context
Artix Entertainment has run a single account ecosystem across its games for years. AQW players already use one Artix account for multiple titles, and the company positions Infinity inside that same ecosystem — the Kickstarter and Alpha access, for example, are handled through the normal Artix account flow.

What we recommend
- Do not abandon your classic AQW account before an official statement — nothing says accounts are being replaced.
- Watch official sources (aq2d.com, Steam, Kickstarter updates) rather than community rumors.
- If you are a backer, keep the email tied to your Kickstarter/Artix account accessible; that is where official Alpha codes arrived.
