The AQW Infinity Alpha is live. Backers received access in May 2026 and the first Android Alpha test started 20 August 2026. Everything below is from official Artix updates, checked 2026-08-24.
Current status
The Alpha is live and being updated weekly. Artix publishes regular progress updates ("Battleon Briefings") alongside the developer posts. The current phase is early: the first Android test began 20 August 2026 for Kickstarter backers, with servers for small-screen play still being set up.

Who can get in
- Kickstarter backers — access codes were distributed through the official Kickstarter update post.
- Android testers — the August test requires installing an official test build manually; Artix stresses the build is only for backers comfortable with sideloading, and that skipping it costs nothing later.
- Everyone else — no public sign-up has been announced. We will update this page when official access changes.
What is in the current build
Officially visible so far: the four starter Classes (Warrior, Mage, Healer and Rogue), the new Infinity Hero Class, Battleon as the central hub, and a continuous stream of monsters, quests and weekly themes. Artix development notes also mention Spellstones, animated monsters and a Farm area in progress.

Is the AQW Infinity Alpha free?
The full game is planned as Free To Play. Alpha access itself is currently limited to Kickstarter backers; there is no public free sign-up yet.
How do I get Alpha access?
Backers redeem codes from the official Kickstarter update post. If you are not a backer, no public access path is announced — we will track changes here.
Will my Alpha progress carry over to release?
Artix has not officially confirmed reset policy for Infinity. Until they do, treat Alpha progress as possibly temporary. Marked unverified.
Is there an Android / iOS Alpha?
Android: yes — the first test began 20 August 2026 for backers. iOS: no test has been announced.
